Where Does Africa Stand on Budget Transparency?

BudgIT, a civil society organization based in Lagos, Nigeria, created “A Window on Africa,” an infographic that visualizes the scores of the 30 sub-Saharan and North African countries covered in the Open Budget Survey 2012.

The infographic displays each country’s 2012 score in comparison with its 2010 scores. South Africa leads the continent with a score of 90, and Equatorial Guinea, Burkina Faso, and Mozambique have made the largest  improvements in their scores over the 2010 Survey.
